I’ve heard so much about the famed Singapore Airlines signature satay, and I was really thankful to be able to sample it last night.
And true enough, it’s one of the best satay I’ve had in a while now. The meat skewers are chunky yet succulent, with a distinct smoky char. The marinade is just slightly sweet with the fragrance of spices like galangal, lemongrass and turmeric. Plus the peanut sauce that’s slathered over the meats is not ground too finely so you get some texture with every bite. Superb la!
It’s an appetiser served if you are in First or Biz class on SQ. Either that, or you could get it at krisshop.com at $98 for a frozen pack of 48 - but unfortunately it’s unavailable at the moment. Will update here once I get wind of its availability
